This weekend may go down in Uk history because of the finalising of the EU withdrawal agreement. It would appear that a lot of the stickling points have been ironed out, and we are now ready to stand alone in the world again. I hav to say that i am very happy to see the end of the Brexit negotiations which have taken the News headlines over the last 4 or 5 years, even eclipsing the current virus.

l think one of the things that has been agreed to, that really needs further scrutiny is the fishing policy. After reading about it this morning it does look as if the Scottish fishermen have been used as a pawn to enable the bigger trade picture, they will not come out well from this. To say that everything will be re assessed after 5 years is one thing, but their livelihood will be affected right from day one, how many will survive that period of time.
