As the Prime Minister flies to Scotland, I suppose the Duty Free laws have changed by now so no cheap shortbread or whisky on the way back, but seriously, is this really the right thing to do. I realise that he wants to show his face North of the border but I don't know if now is the time. He has just been harping on for weeks about the fact that we should all stay put and keep the virus under control hasn't he? I don't think that the Scottish people will meet him with welcoming open arms, do you? No, this is a bad move and one that is not going to go away quickly. BoJo really does have a degree in shooting himself in the foot.
